Rick has a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Clemson University and holds a residential contractors license in South Carolina. He has developed marketing and promotion campaigns for the construction industry, printing industry and other industries since 1993. His construction and development experience began in 1994 and has continued since. He is currently developing the luxury gated community of Cobblestone in Greenville, SC. This is a 150 lot, 3 phase development with homes ranging from $500,000 to $1,500,000. This also includes the construction of the 1.5 million dollar amenity package. He is also developing the luxury town home community Stoneledge on Lake Keowee. This gated town home community is a 50 million dollar, 94 unit, 2 phase development ranging from $400,000 to $750,000.

He has custom built homes in South Carolina in the custom luxury range of $350,000 to $2,000,000. Current custom home projects include: Montebello, Cobblestone, Kilgore Plantation, Parkins Mill and various private estates in the Upstate, SC area. Other current projects include 2 - 38 unit town home projects in Greenville and Travelers Rest, the 5 million dollar clubhouse at The Cliffs Keowee Vineyards, and the show home at the new Cliffs community at Valley West.

Rick has degrees in Accounting and Business Management and holds contractor's licenses in several states including South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and others that reciprocate with those states. All licenses are categorized as unlimited. His construction experience began in 1968 and he has been a licensed General Contractor since 1972.

His past projects include over 5,000 rental apartment units as an owner, contractor and manager. These units were located in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia and North Carolina. Rick has also constructed luxury condominium units in Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. He developed a portion of the Country Club of Miami in Miami, Florida. Commercial projects include various strip shopping centers and restoration projects in downtown Greenville, SC., as well as several commercial and retail buildings in South Florida. He is currently working with Rick Thoennes, III in developing the luxury gated community of Cobblestone in Greenville, SC.
